The area surrounding La Cesnerie is extremely popular with cyclists, horse-riders, nature lovers, walkers and mountain bikers. We are also perfectly postioned for anyone going to see the Le Mans 24 Hours or the Le Mans Moto GP in May.
Availability: Open all year round. We serve food 7 days a week including Sunday and Monday evenings when most French restaurants & hotels don't serve food.

Room descriptions: Clean and simple, no 'frilly' frills rooms with a fresh but restful contemporary country cottage feel.

Guests also have access to an upstairs sitting room and our beautiful garden for meals or general lounging around. Meals are served either downstairs in the dining/living room or outside in the garden.
Breakfast:
This is included in the price and consists of a continental breakfast with the additional choice of fresh egg options . Our eggs are truly free range and very fresh, not more than 3 days old and our hens live an idyllic life roaming free and getting their greens on a daily basis which is what makes our egg yolks so yellow. We also have a selection of delicious home-made jam, made from our own fruit and other local produce
Evening Meal:
We are very happy to provide you with an evening meal but need some prior warning, please book in advance.

Our food is simple, but filling, home-cooking, using our own fresh home-grown vegetables and locally produced food, when available.

Pays de la Loire on the northern border with Normandy. Near the village of Averton.
Dieppe & Le Havre 2hr 45mins; Le Mans 1 hour, Alencon 30 minutes, Mayenne 30 minutes, The Loire Valley & Saumur 1hr 45min.
Directions: Travelling south on the A28, leave at exit 20 and drive to Sille le Guillaume, drive to Fresnay sur Sarthe, drive to Souge le Ganelon and continue on through St Paul le Gualtier on the D15, this becomes the D119 as it enters the Mayenne, turn right on the D268 and then take the 1st right to La Cesnerie.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Arrival time
Doors are open for new arrivals from 5.00pm until 10.00pm. Guests are asked to provide an expected arrival time and inform us if this changes.
Deposit
Unless waived, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure a reservation.
We reserve the right to rebook rooms if deposit is not received within 4 working days.
If deposit is made by bank transfer, Paypal etc. then the guest is responsible for bank, currency exchange charges etc.
Balance of payment
We accept payment on site by French or English cheque or in cash (euros or sterling) only. We do not accept bank cards on site.
Cancellation
2 months or more before arrival date: deposit refunded less 20€ handling charge.
8 days or more before arrival date: 50% of total price, minimum 30€ per room.
7 days or fewer before arrival date, non-arrival or visit cut short: 100% of total price.
Cancellation fees are payable regardless of whether a deposit has been paid and whatever the reason for cancellation.
Damages, breakages and loss
Guests are liable for any damage they or their children cause to property, breakages (other than normal wear and tear), loss of keys, books etc.
